


This shot above is cheating a bit. That is Joyce at the helm and me with my head cut off by the boom. However,
the picture was taken over 20 years ago, before we owned the boat. That was when we were young...and svelte.

Some days are better than others. Maine's fast-descending tides made this look much worse than it was.
Thanks to a thick bed of kelp there was only some paint scraped off the keel, but otherwise not a scratch. Bad navigation
in front of several other Tartan owners did damage my ego, however.
